Tyler did the stairs in our store and we were very impressed. He did all the prep work which included taking time to find a good match to the flooring that we already had, took of the carpet that was glued to the cement, and evened out bumpy spots. He was very professional and took special care to come in before we opened so that he would not disrupt our normal business hours. We were impressed with the quality of his work because he had to lay flooring down around rails that could not be removed and there are no gaps. He also offered to repaint our siding that needed to be done. Tyler was great and we would recommend him to anyone needing stairs, flooring, or any other finished work done.
Tyler replaced a rotten wood bearing column on our front porch. He did a good job and was willing to explain what he was doing during and before the process. I appreciate the extra care he took in making sure the porch was level and the new post was secure. He did a really great job for us!

To The T Handyman Services is Tyler Smith's business, registered as Precision Cut Construction LLC and based in Brigham City. In his words: "I have been working in construction since I was a teenager, primarily doing remodeling work before transitioning into hardwood flooring. Over the past few years, I have taken part in five complete home remodels and the construction of two homes from the ground up, in addition to completing countless handyman projects."
He launched the business in 2022 as his capstone project while finishing a bachelor's degree at Weber State University. He worked full-time as a handyman, branched out for a while to get more homebuilding and remodeling under his belt, and is now back to giving To The T his full focus.

Yes. Jobs under two hours carry a minimum, so most people stack a few items into one visit. We confirm the exact amount before booking.
Are you licensed in Utah?
Yes. License No: 13021266-5501 (held by Precision Cut Construction LLC), a full Utah general contractor licence issued through Utah DOPL. Utah lets smaller jobs run under a handyman exemption, but a job past that limit needs a licensed contractor, so a list that grows doesn't have to change hands.
What work don't you take on?
Any plumbing and electrical require special licensing in the state of Utah. Even something as simple as swapping a light switch should be done by an electrician as part of Utah's licensing rules. We also do not do any deck repairs. Those almost always become a larger project than we take on.
